What is ecap?
An innovative, evidence-based leadership coaching program that can be tailored to suit organisational needs.
The ECAP effectively trains senior leaders in the skills necessary for using the coach-approach with their staff. The program has been developed to ensure that leaders can implement the skills immediately in their organisation.
The program is structured to include:
- An initial preparatory call from Facilitator
- Two day face-to-face Leadership Coaching Intensive Workshop
- Three Individual Coaching Sessions post-workshop
- Three Group Coaching Sessions post-workshop
The two-day Intensive equips leaders to:
- recognise a coaching moment
- use the coach-approach in routine communication to enhance initiative, action and accountability in the people they lead
- understand the six leadership coaching principles
- use the five-step Collaborative Coaching Framework
- provide constructive corrective feedback without the angst
- coach to staff strengths
- use meaningful acknowledgment to facilitate change
All of this is achieved through hands-on experience with coaching skills and concepts using brain-friendly training techniques and follow-up coaching to embed the learning. Engaging in the follow-up support is vital to the successful transfer of this new skillset from the training back into the workplace and to ensure participants reap the benefits of the program.
